Unprecedented times called for the temporary closing of restaurants across the nation and throughout the world with the spread of COVID-19. The Cannery shut its doors early to ensure the safety of the community eventually opening with a small drive thru Farmers Market with the assistance of Executive Chef Markus Hagan. This provided the public aid in gathering essentials like eggs, milk, dairy and meats which were hard to come by and helped the vulnerable avoid large crowds at supermarkets.
